Mindfulness-Based Mental Endurance Workshops for Runners & Endurance Athletes

Endurance sports challenge more than the body - they challenge the mind.

These mindfulness-based workshops help runners and endurance athletes develop the mental skills needed to train consistently, manage discomfort, and perform with confidence. Sessions combine practical tools from mindfulness and performance psychology that athletes can apply immediately in training and racing.

Workshops are offered for school teams, run clubs, and running stores, either in person (Bay Area only) or live via Zoom.

 

Why Mindset Matters

In endurance sports, performance is often limited by:

  • Loss of focus late in workouts or races

  • Difficulty managing fatigue and discomfort

  • Negative self-talk and performance anxiety

  • Burnout over long training cycles

Mindfulness helps athletes stay present, respond skillfully to discomfort, and build sustainable mental resilience over time.

 

Who It’s For

Designed primarily for runners, these workshops also support:

  • High school and collegiate teams

  • Cross-country and track programs

  • Adult run clubs and training groups

  • Triathletes, cyclists, trail runners, and ultrarunners

No prior mindfulness experience is required.

 

What to Expect

Workshops are interactive and tailored to the group’s goals and experience level. Topics may include:

  • Mental endurance vs. mental toughness

  • Focus and attention during hard efforts

  • Managing nerves, pressure, and self-talk

  • Resilience through setbacks and “off” days

  • Mindfulness tools for recovery and longevity

 

Format & Options

  • 60-minute standalone workshop

  • 2–3 session series (60 minutes each)

Delivery:

  • In person (Bay Area)

  • Live via Zoom

Suitable for small teams, full squads, or large community events.

 

Consulting Rates (Approximate)

Zoom

  • Up to 15 participants: $125–$175/hr

  • 16–30 participants: $175–$250/hr

  • 30+ participants: $250–$350/hr

In Person (Bay Area)

  • Small groups: $175–$250/hr

  • Medium groups: $250–$350/hr

  • Large groups / store events: $350–$500/hr
